SS White Great White Depth Cutters are available in sterile, individually packaged tungsten carbide, friction grip burs speciïcally designed with a self-limiting stop to produce 2 mm or 1.5 mm occlusal depth cuts necessary for feldspathic (milled) crown, inlay or onlay preparations. The carbide construction of the Great White Depth Cutters will not clog when used on amalgam and composite restorations, compared to diamond depth cutters, making it an ideal universal instrument when initiating preparations on restored or non-restored occlusal surfaces.
