Integra absorbable collagen wound dressing products are soft, white, pliable, non-friable, absorbent sponges made from collagen obtained from bovine deep flexor (Achilles) tendon These dressings are intended for use on moist or bleeding wounds where a stabilized blood clot can help protect the surface of the wound from further injury Collagen wound dressing products are typically reabsorbed by the body within 2 to 4 weeks after placement Use for extraction sites, biopsy sites Manufacturer Code: 62-202 Brand: HeliPlug Packaging: Box of 10 plugs Size: 3/8" x 3/4" Type: Bovine plug
Meta Biomed Meta Biomed DM Bone, Resorbable Materials
DM Bone, Resorbable Materials (Bone replacement material) Silicon Ion Containing 60% HA, 40% B-TCP DM-Bone is a bioactive bone graft material, which is resorbable and able to be replaced by new bone. DM-Bone is a ceramic constituted of two-phase of silicon (<1wt%) contained coralline 60% hydroxyapatite and 40% beta-tricalcium phosphate. Small amounts of silicates stimulate the action of osteoblasts and, in consequence, the new bone formation. Moreover, silicates increase the mechanical strength, a very important factor in particular for porous ceramics, and also accelerate the bioactivitiy of apatite.DM-Bone is 70% porous with interconnected pores of 100~600 microns in diameter. This high porosity allows maximum space for vascularization, osteoblast migration and bone deposition. ADVANTAGES Silicon ion containing porous hydroxyapatite (Si-Content: Avg. 0.6 wt%) Optimum balance between HA and B-TCP in the ratio (%), 60:40 Silicon ion technology speeds up the bone regeneration & heal activation Outstanding biocompatibility (no biological rejection, no disease transmission) Excellent osteoblastic activity with wide surface area: 72% porosity Periodontal defects Intrabony defects Ridge augmentation Implant preparation/placement at extraction sites Sinus lifts Cystic cavities FDA approved
Septodont Septodont R.T.R. RTR+ 40/60 Biphasic Bone Grafting Material
R.T.R. RTR+ 40/60 Biphasic Bone Grafting Material, 0.5cc Syringe Indications RTR+ is a bone graft material intended to be used to reconstruct bony loss or bone gaps in maxillofacial applications: following tooth extractions following intrabony/periodontal/peri-implants defects ridge augmentations sinus lifts cystic cavity fillings Features & benefits Ideal osteogenic matrix: designed through a special manufacturing process Fully synthetic Sterile and Fully resorbable. Hydroxyapatite & ß-Tricalcium phosphate are both fully resorbable This micro & macroporous structure mimics human bone Offers a high success rate with no risk of disease associated Will gradually generate new natural bone Biphasic formulations associating the very bioactive ß-Tricalcium Phosphate and the stable Hydroxyapatite that allows resorption at the right pace which leads in the creation of a new strong and qualitative bone. Two formulations available allowing you to manage the pace of your bone grafting procedures A proprietary micro and macroporous structure setting for an appropriate scaffold and allowing cellular colonization Bioactive and osteoconductive material providing a matrix for new bone growth Presentation Item #01S0540 – R.T.R.+ 40/60 (40% β-Tricalcium Phosphate / 60% Hydroxyapatite) - One 0.5cc syringe
