Septodont Septodont Cook-Waite Lidocaine with Syringe

Introducing the Septodont Cook-Waite Lidocaine with SurgiMac Syringe, an essential local anesthetic for dental professionals. This product offers superior effectiveness and ease of use, providing optimal patient comfort during procedures. With its powerful combination of Lidocaine HCL 2% and Epinephrine 1:100,000 vasoconstrictor, this anesthetic ensures efficient anesthesia for both infiltration and nerve block techniques. One of the key benefits of the Cook-Waite Lidocaine is its quick onset time. For nerve blocks, the average onset time is 2 to 4 minutes, offering reliable pulpal anesthesia for approximately 90 minutes. This Lidocaine solution is formulated without methylparaben, reducing the risk of allergic reactions in sensitive patients. Additionally, all components are 100% latex-free, minimizing the chances of allergic responses. Each glass cartridge is covered with a Mylar label, ensuring safety in the event of cartridge breakage. The Cook-Waite Lidocaine cartridges are carefully packed in blisters of 10 to avoid glass-to-glass contact, reducing breakage and ensuring product integrity. The packaging includes a SurgiMac syringe, providing dentists with a convenient and easy-to-use delivery system. Septocaine® and epinephrine 1:100,000 is preferred during operative or surgical procedures when improved visualization of the surgical field is desirable. Reactions to Septocaine® (pain and headache, for example, or convulsions or respiratory arrest following accidental intravascular injection) are characteristic of those associated with other amide-type local anesthetics. Septocaine® contains sodium metabisulfite, a sulfite that may cause allergic-type reactions including anaphylactic symptoms and life-threatening or less severe asthmatic episodes in certain susceptible people. Accidental intravascular injection may be associated with convulsions, followed by central nervous system or cardiorespiratory depression and coma, progressing ultimately to respiratory arrest. Dental practitioners and/or clinicians who employ local anesthetic agents should be well versed in diagnosis and management of emergencies that may arise from their use. Resuscitative equipment, oxygen, and other resuscitative drugs should be available for immediate use. Septocaine®, along with other local anesthetics, is capable of producing methemoglobinemia. The clinical signs of methemoglobinemia are cyanosis of the nail beds and lips, fatigue and weakness. If methemoglobinemia does not respond to administration of oxygen, administration of methylene blue intravenously 1-2 mg/kg body weight over a 5 minute period is recommended.
